What Will I Study?
Using a beginner-friendly pattern, you’ll be guided through each stage: from cutting fabric and assembling the pieces to inserting an elastic or drawstring waistband and finishing seams neatly. Choose from a relaxed-fit style perfect for everyday wear or loungewear, depending on your fabric choice.

How to read and follow a basic trouser pattern

Entry Requirements
Although suitable for beginners, if you have no experience using a sewing machine, we strongly recommend that you enrol onto one of our short ‘Getting to Know a Sewing Machine’ courses prior to enrolling.
