Designed for those with some machine sewing experience, this in-depth workshop takes you step-by-step through the process of making professional-quality denim jeans from scratch. If you have no experience of using a sewing machine, we strongly recommend you complete one of our short ‘Getting to know a Sewing Machine’ workshops prior to enrolling. These are run throughout the year.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to measure accurately, choose the right denim and hardware, adjust commercial patterns for fit, and master construction techniques such as topstitching, inserting fly zips, setting rivets, and creating durable, stylish seams.
With expert guidance and plenty of individual support, you’ll leave with a pair of jeans that fit and flatter—made entirely by you.
