Overview

Lino printing is a printmaking technique which involves carving designs into linoleum sheets to create relief prints. It allows artists to create multiple identical prints with bold lines and strong contrasts, creating a distinctive aesthetic.

The process involves drawing a design on the linoleum and using tools to carve away areas that shouldn't receive ink. Ink is then applied to the raised surfaces with a roller and pressed onto paper or fabric to transfer the image.

This is a one-day workshop for anyone interested in learning about the basics of lino printing in a friendly and relaxed environment.
