Overview

This course is aimed specifically at adult learners who wish to continue to further their ability to communicate confidently and effectively with native German speakers. You will learn in a relaxed and informal environment and you should have studied the language for at least 6 years or equivalent (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages B1).

What Will I Study?

We will continue to grow your vocabulary, covering practical topics to enable you to communicate. There will be a focus on grammar and we will cover all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). We will be revising and consolidating grammatical concepts, including the subjunctive and the passive voice.

Homework is given on a weekly basis. To benefit most from the course, you will be encouraged to read the materials used during lessons and refer to the course book.

Please note that specific topics studied may vary depending on the individual abilities of each cohort.
