Overview

This Philosophy course is an opportunity to delve into the minds of the greatest thinkers. With the rise of AI, a new and international discussion around identity and the worldwide threat of climate change, the ‘big ideas’ of philosophy have never been more important or relevant to our lives.

What Will I Study?

Exploring Philosophy is an opportunity to delve into the minds of the greatest thinkers; this 10 week course is for curious, open-minded learners wanting to explore the world's oldest, and newest, questions.

Students will receive an introduction to philosophy by studying some of the foundational thinkers and ideas such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. In the later stages of the course, content will be directed by what the students are interested in and where their curiosity takes them. There will be opportunities for open discussion as well as directed learning from your tutor.
