David is the Suffragan Bishop of Basingstoke and was appointed as a Foundation Governor, nominated by the Diocese of Winchester, in March 2017. David brings to the Board extensive experience in governance in the education and charitable sectors. He is currently a governor of University of Winchester and Trustee (he is Chair of Perins MAT) of Perins School in Alresford. In addition, he is the Custodian Trustee for multiple charities. He has had experience in managing an extensive portfolio as Director of Winchester Diocesan Board of Finance. He is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
