Progress reviews are an opportunity for you to sit down with each subject teacher and discuss your progress. All the subject reviews are then discussed with you by your Tutor and an action plan drawn up with SMART targets to help you improve your academic performance. Strategies will be discussed with you and may include attendance at workshops, extra reading or a referral to Study Support. Progress reviews occur in the Autumn and Spring terms and information regarding progress, effort and the meeting of deadlines is available for parents. Parents of students who are considered to need additional help and support are specifically invited to a parents evening, but any parents can make an appointment to see a member of staff during these evenings.

Feedback to Parents/Guardians

Following each progress review period, parents/guardians will be able to log on to the Parents’ Portal and view your latest progress grades. They will be able to view your attendance record throughout your course.

Your parents will be kept informed of any concerns we may have about your attendance, progress or behaviour. We believe that parents/guardians are vital partners with you and the College in our joint aim to maximise your achievements.
