Information About The Post

Our Estates team looks after all our buildings, including the cleaning, and we have several vacancies for staff to join the team at the end of August or early September cleaning spaces such as classrooms, offices and social areas. All the jobs are mainly term time only, with a range of shifts available working Monday to Friday, typically as follows: mornings 6 am to 9 am; evenings 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm; daytime 9 am to 5 pm. We have flexibility as to the exact start and finish times. Please tell us what hours you want to work on your application form. We also have some hours available for weekend working, again with some flexibility as to the hours. Some roles will be permanent and others fixed term.

Experience working as a Cleaner is an advantage but not essential as training will be given. More important is that you take a pride in your work, are flexible in the duties you will undertake, are a team player and physically fit to do the work. For daytime work, you must be comfortable working in a busy college environment alongside students and staff.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.

How To Apply

Please download and complete the application form (two parts). Once complete, please email it to quoting the job title and reference number in your email. If you require an acknowledgement please also request that in your email.
