Information About The Post

We are looking to appoint a tutor to teach Spanish from September 2020. A teaching qualification is desirable (PTLLS or above)

The teaching hours available are:

  • Year 1 (Beginners) on Wednesday evenings
  • Year 3 (Lower Intermediate) on Thursday evenings

These are taught either at the Adult Education Centre in Weeke for daytime courses or at the Sixth Form College for evening courses. Depending on the social distancing situation at the time, we may require these courses to be taught online, so a familiarity with communication technology is desirable.

These are non-examined, adult leisure courses although they still follow a structured plan.  These appointments are made subject to sufficient students enrolling on the course to make it financially viable. For more information about the levels of ability, please see the background information provided below.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.

How To Apply

Please download and complete the application form (two parts). Once complete, please email it to jobs@psc.ac.uk quoting the job title and reference number in your email. If you require an acknowledgement please also request that in your email.
