Adult Education Tutor - German
We require a teacher of German to join our Adult Education team from September 2020
The details for this post are as follows:
Information About The Post
We require a teacher of German to teach our Year 1 (Beginners) Adult group. This will be taught on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings during College Term time, normally for 2 hours a week. A teaching qualification is desirable (PTLLS or above).
This course is taught at the Sixth Form College site on Owens Road. Depending on the social distancing situation at the time, we may require the course to be taught online, so a familiarity with communication technology is desirable.
The Language courses are non-examined, adult leisure courses although they still follow a structured plan. This appointment is made subject to sufficient students enrolling on the course to make it financially viable. For more information about the levels of ability, please see the background information provided below.
We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
