The details for this post are as follows:
Information About The Post
We have a vacancy for a Teacher of Health & Social Care on a permanent full-time contract and would also consider applicants wishing to work part time on a job share basis.
This is a dedicated and enthusiastic department of one full time and three part time members of staff, all working significant hours. We offer the OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate, the Diploma and the Extended Diploma (2016 suite) to a growing number of students.
We seek a teacher with a passion for the subject of Health & Social Care, coupled with a belief in the core values that underpin our practice. You will have a degree in Health & Social Care or significant work experience as a qualified practitioner in the sector. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers and, above all, seek those with the skills and experience to inspire and support our students, both in the classroom and as they attend work placements.
Please note that posts advertised to start in September 2020 actually commence with student enrolment on Tuesday 25 August 2020. Teaching staff are required to work this week but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.
We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
