Information About The Post

Business is a successful and growing department at the College, with over 700 students and 13 committed teachers who teach across the range of courses: A level, BTEC and Level 2 Cambridge Technical.

Due to this growth, we have permanent full and part time vacancies for people to join the team to teach A level and BTEC. Depending on the wishes of candidates, we hope to be flexible as to the size of part time contracts so please indicate your preference. Candidates will be graduates of Business or a closely allied subject. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. Most importantly, they will be passionate and creative, with a real joy for the job.

Please note that posts advertised to start in September 2020 actually commence with student enrolment on Tuesday 25 August 2020. Teaching staff are required to work this week but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.

Although the College is currently closed to students due to government restrictions in response to the coronavirus, we are continuing to recruit staff for September and will liaise directly with short listed candidates as to ways that we might conduct interviews.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
