Information About The Post

Psychology is a thriving department, with over 850 students studying the subject at A level. Due to growth in student numbers in the area, we seek full or part time members of staff to join the department in September.

The successful applicants will have a degree in Psychology or a closely allied subject, with an enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to share that with our students. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

We are also looking for teachers in the other growth areas of Sociology, Criminology and Law, planning to interview candidates for all of these subjects on one of two days: 11 and 12 March 2020. Please make it clear in your application whether you wish to be considered for any other subjects in addition to Psychology and if you wish to work full or part time.

Please note that posts advertised to start in September 2020 actually commence with student enrolment on Tuesday 25 August 2020. Teaching staff are required to work this week but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
