Information About The Post

Psychology is a thriving department, with over 700 students studying the subject at A level. There are currently twelve teaching staff, both full and part time, delivering the AQA specification. We seek a permanent part time member of staff on a contract of 15 sessions a week which is just under 0.6 FTE.

The successful applicant will have a degree in Psychology or a closely allied subject, with an enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to share that with our students. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

We would also advise you that posts advertised to start in September 2019 actually commence with student enrolment on Tuesday 27 August 2019. Teaching staff are required to work this week but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
