Information About The Post

We have a very busy Catering Department with several cafes and a shop. We are looking for people to join the team, working either in the kitchen or cafes. Duties will include food handling, counter service, clearing tables and till work. No previous experience is required, but you must be enthusiastic and reliable, able to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

This is a rare opportunity to work term time but with significant hours (8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday). The job will be fixed term for a year in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal. You will be provided with a uniform and with all necessary training, including the potential to undertake NVQs. Other benefits include membership of a pension scheme. We are close to the station and have free staff parking.

Although we have a closing date of 21 January, we will start looking at applications as soon as they come in and reserve the right to appoint right away.

For further information, please contact the Catering Manager on 01962 862563 between 9 am and 4 pm on or after 7 January 2019.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
