HOP ABOARD AND SET SAIL AS STUDENTS DAZZLE WITH THIS YEAR?S PERFORMANCE AT THE THEATRE ROYAL, WINCHESTER

Anything Goes

Following the huge success of last summer's first-ever college musical 42nd Street, students of Peter Symonds College are proud to present shipboard classic Anything Goes. The show this year will run over three days, on Tuesday 4th July, Wednesday 5th July and Thursday 6th July 2017.

Madcap antics take place aboard the liner as it sails from New York with performances of much-loved Cole Porter numbers including I Get A Kick Out Of You, It's De-Lovely, and Anything Goes. Stowaway Billy Crocker attempts to win the heart of debutante Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to the bumbling Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Meanwhile, former showgirl turned evangelist Reno Sweeney leads the hugely talented ensemble through spectacular production numbers.

The cast have worked tirelessly and are very much looking forward to performing the show in front of a large audience. Peter Hedley, Producer and Musical Director for the production, commented, "Following on from the fantastic reception last year's musical received, we are delighted to be returning to the Theatre Royal in July. 'Anything Goes' is a classic musical comedy and with our cast of incredibly talented singers, dancers, and actors it promises to be a memorable show."

Performance dates are Tuesday 4th July at 7.30pm, Wednesday 5th July at 2.30pm (Matinee) and 7.30pm and Thursday 6th July at 7.30pm.
