Taster Day and Course Changes - Thursday 6 July and Friday 7 July

We hope you have enjoyed all your subjects during Taster Day. If, however, you want to change your choices after Taster Day, please contact the Admissions Team as soon as possible on 01962 857555 or email: admissions@psc.ac.uk

Although we will be able to accommodate most changes, some subjects may have become full. If this is the case, we will place you on a waiting list.

All requests for changes must be made by the end of term on Friday 14 July. We will not be able to process requests after this date so that we can focus on the arrangements for enrolment. The Admissions office will be open for the majority of the summer holidays to answer any queries. If you leave a message, we will return your call as soon as possible.

Confirming your offer of place - between Thursday 6 July - Friday 14 July

You can confirm your place at the college from Thursday 6 July. If you have not confirmed your interest in your place via your online account by Friday 14 July we will assume that you no longer require a place for September 2017.

GCSE Results - Thursday 24 August

We hope you will have achieved the grades you are hoping for.

If your results qualify you for your chosen subjects you do not need to contact us before your enrolment interview. (see below).

If your results are very different from those expected and will affect your course choice, you must telephone Admissions on 01962 857555 so we can help and advise you prior to enrolment.

In particular, if you do not achieve 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, please contact us for advice and to discuss alternative options.

Details of our entry requirements can be found in the 2017 prospectus. We will not be able to accept students onto subjects or courses where they have not met the published entry criteria.

Enrolment - Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 August

You will receive a letter during August giving you the day and time of your enrolment interview. Parents are not expected to attend. If they do, they may be asked to wait while you complete the enrolment process.

You must bring with you confirmation of your GCSE results, any AS results gained and details of any other qualifications achieved (including those gained in previous years) so that we can confirm your programme of study. If your school issues a printout of results, it must be on headed paper and contain your UCI number.

You must also bring with you the paperwork sent with your letter in August, completed in advance, along with your passport or birth certificate so that we can confirm your ID and date of birth.

You must attend this enrolment in person so that we can confirm your programme of study with you. We then use the time following this to arrange the timetable to reflect the actual enrolments made, so anyone who enrols late risks finding their chosen subjects/courses already full.

Most subjects will be setting you a task to do before the start of term to get you off to a flying start! Details will be issued at enrolment and will also be available on our website www.psc.ac.uk.

The College’s Careers Advisers will be available during Enrolment to answer subject and career related queries.

Sports Team Trials - Tuesday 29, Thursday 30 August and Friday 1 September

Dates and times of the individual team trials can be found in the Enrichment Magazine
