LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE

Ashurst is the College's main centre for independent study. It provides study facilities and information from a wide variety of different sources.

Resources

There are 16,000 books, extensive reference resources, journals, newspapersand DVDs, as well as online databases, e-books, e-journals, plus fully equipped IT suites. There is also a reference copy of all subject textbooks on the shelves.

Journals

There are over 70 journals and daily newspapers taken by the Learning Resource Centre; e-journals are also available.

IT Suites

There are 3 bookable IT suites and two open access suites. The building is fully wireless-enabled.

Audio-Visual Facilities

A comprehensive AV service is provided with facilities for loaning essential equipment including digital still and video cameras.

Seminar Rooms

We have three Seminar Rooms that can be bookedby students for group work.
