When is the deadline for boarding applications?

Students (and their parents) who are interested in boarding need to plan ahead. Therefore, our deadline for boarding applications is earlier that our general application deadline.

We would like to receive all boarding applications by Friday 16 September 2011. We then aim to arrange as many interviews as possible to coincide with our Open Evenings on 12, 13 and 14 October. However, we will still consider applications arriving by the deadline of Friday 21 October 2011.

What will happen at my boarding interview?

If you are invited to an interview for a boarding place you will spend several hours at college. You will meet one of our interview team to discuss your course choices and talk about life as a student at Symonds. You and your parents will then be shown around the boarding houses and, finally, you will all meet the Head of Boarding.
