BEACON STATUS
In July 2006, the government's Quality Improvement Agency and the Learning & Skills Council awarded the prestigious Beacon Status to Peter Symonds College.
Beacon status recognises excellence and innovation. It is awarded to organisations rather than individuals, and celebrates outstanding performance in teaching and learning and outstanding leadership and management.
