Do you want a new career or a new hobby?

We offer a full range of courses, both for beginners and for more advanced techniques if you have already trained.

Our courses range from level 1 through to level 3 in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.We also offeroptional routes for the holistic therapist and advanced courses for professional development.

Why Study at ACE?

You are fully supported throughout your training by very experienced staff who understand the learning needs of adults. Small class numbers- you will be with other like-minded people who are highly motivated in learning new skills. We offer lots of learning support too, so if you have not been in a classroom for some years, it is not a problem – we understand!

All our students are assessed prior to acceptance on the course for English and maths skills so that we can offer extra support, if required, right from the very beginning. Staff are always on hand to give advice.

Essentials for training

To enable you to train to a professional level you will require the following prior to the start of your course:

• Full uniform for Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy (including shoes)complete with a badge
• Full tool kit for either Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy
• Student text book for either Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy
• Stationary (e.g. pens, paper, folders, dividers, etc)
• Products fee – which helps towards the costs of learning resources and products, laundry and so on
• VTCT ( Awarding Body) registration lifetime membership

Uniforms, kits and text books can be ordered through the college at a discounted rate using our official suppliers. Order forms will be available after a successful interview.

Tuition and exam fees

A selection of our courses may be supported by the some government funds depending upon your individual circumstances. We also have options for payments of fees using an instalment plan with a small administration fee.

Which even way you pay for fees, you will still be expected to have a full uniform and kit prior to start of your course. You cannot learn without them!

Courses available

We offer a variety of courses both daytime and evening attendance, so even if you are working full time, you will still be able to find a class to suit your needs.
