ACE will be offering the new qualifications required for training and teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sectors. (Post Compulsory Education, Further Education, Adult Education and many other forms of Training).

The qualifications on offer are:

• Introduction to Training
• City & Guilds 7303 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector
• City & Guilds 7304 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
• City & Guilds 7305 Level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (from Sept 2008)

These qualifications are the result of a DfES initiative to transform teacher training and CPD (Continued Professional Development) in the whole Learning and Skills sector in England. They are part of a reform which sees all existing teacher-training qualifications - from all awarding bodies and universities - replaced by the new award and qualifications.
