BUSINESS/EMPLOYERS
The most valuable asset in your company is your staff. To achieve success in today's very competitive market place, your staff must be working to their full potential. This can be achieved if they are up-to-date with the latest business developments.
Train to Gain

Train to Gain is an exciting new service led by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC). It helps local businesses get the training they need.
Anyone in employment who does not have the equivalent of a Level 2 qualification in any subject may be entitled to a free Level 2 or 3 course through the Government's Train to Gain programme. Companies with fewer than 50 employees may get additional support through wage compensation.
Peter Symonds ACE offers a wide range of NVQ programmes that fit the Train to Gain scheme. These are in Childcare, Health and Social Care (Adult Care), the NVQ for Teaching Assistants and the ITQ, a business focus NVQ in IT skills.
Most of our NVQ work is provided out in employer's premises with some sessions at college using our own excellent training facilities. We work on a one-to-one and group basis depends on each employer's needs. All trainers and assessors are well qualified and experienced with specialist knowledge in their particular subject area.
